Day 2 – Dismantling Mediocre and unprofitable allies
Deuteronomy 6:1, Exodus 19:1
Sometimes you can be at one place for so long to the extent that it becomes normal for you.
Horeb was a place of comfort for the Israelites. They found security, rest, satisfaction and assurance to the extent where they all forgot about their destination Canaan. Never feel like you have arrived.
- Father in the name of Jesus, I prune any friendship, relationship that will not help me get to my destination or promise land in the name of Jesus
- Lord Jesus, anything that gives me comfort (my job, my position, my certificate etc) and makes me feel I have arrived and ok at my current level, father I reject that mentality and push myself harder to the next level in the name of Jesus
- Father give me the grace and wisdom to associate with people that will guide and help me walk in your perfect plan for me. I pray for Strength to get us to our promise land in the name of Jesus. Jeremiah 29:11-12
